An earthwork bank up to circa 8m wide is visible defining an oval enclosed area approximately 29m long and 18m wide. A possible outer ditch is visible as a subtle earthwork up to 7m wide. The earthwork has probably been eroded by modern agriculture.

An oval enclosure is visible as an earthwork. The inner area of the enclosure is depicted on the Tithe Map for Stoodleigh. The outer extent of earthwork is respected by the extant field boundaries, which have been characterised by Historic Landscape Characterisation as of medieval origin.
