Full description
Bligh Bond, F., 1903, Devonshire Screens and Rood Lofts. Part II, 491 (Article in Serial). SDV6113.
St. Mary the Virgin: fine rood screen, rare type. Tracery similar to that at Halberton. Lights of the arcades of 6 divisions. Bradfield aisle separated by a baluster parclose of later date.

The fine medieval rood screen has been much rebuilt; it is earlier in date than most in Devon (possibly c1400), more massive and with plainer detail.
