Huntsham Churchyard ST001204
An ancient cross base stands on the right hand side of a flight of steps leading to the south porch of the church. The ancient socket stone is made of local stone and is badly weathered, the socket hole is circular and completely pierces the stone. A modern cross had been erected (1930s) on this ancient base, which is now missing.
Socket stone 0.66 by 0.71 metres at base, 0.45 by 0.48 at top. Socket hole 0.12 metres in diameter.
