Recorded as 'Coney Geare Hill' (plot 386) on the Sampford Peverell Tithe Apportionment.

Connigar Hill. Site of a medieval rabbit warren. The hill is called Luhha's Hill in the charter describing the bounds of a Saxon estate, and the boundary crosses it. Virtually cut by the North Devon Link Road. No visible features.

Connigar Hill. Based on place name evidence, this was the site of a medieval rabbit warren. No trace of such was found when the hill was partically cut through by the link road (although this took place before the watching brief began). The hill is also referred to as Lunha's Hill in an estate charter of AD958.
