'lew mill (corn)' shown on os 25" (1880s) map as a group of buildings to the southwest of the 'dower house' with a leat from the northeast (os).

A mill at 'lew trenchard' was mentioned in 1795. 'lew mill' was described in 1811 as a grist mill with a water powered threshing machine. The farm including a house, farm buildings, 360 acres and a lime quarry. In 1947 it was described as a three storey stone building with a slate roof and overshot wheel. The mill has been cleared of machinery by 1962 (bodman).
