Unknown, 1839, Brixton (Cartographic). SDV340526.
Marked on 1839 tithe map of Brixton, Field Number 570. Other details: Copy in Parish File.

Sherford road limekiln. Overgrown single-well kiln, D-shaped plan with triangular head doorways.
Griffiths, D. M., 1982, Untitled Source (Site Visit). SDV340507.
Although overgrown, survives some 5-6 meters high. Single shaft with one opening on west side and another on east. Appears to be recessed into natural rock on west. In good condition.
