Summary

Barge quarry has field number 97 on tithe map. By 1888, when Westleigh quarries were offered up for sale, the quarry had spread to the west and occupied the former 'Warren' fields. Barge quarry was advertised as providing limestone for building purposes. Part of the quarry remains.
