Full description
Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.
'Washbrook' is shown as a long range of buildings on the west side of a yard, on the south side of the road to the west of the corn mill.

Washbrook was probably 'Washbourne' in medieval times. A deed of 1349 names Walter de Waseburne. During the middle ages the property was held by the Champernowne family.
