Described in a Fire Insurance Policy of 1794 as a house with millhouse adjoining built of stone and cob with a slate roof. The mill was used in 1812 for sawing marble but is described on the 1880s-1890s 25 inch Ordnance Survey map as a corn mill. The site is now a modern housing development.
