Unknown, 1842, Untitled Source (Cartographic). SDV20321.
The farm is shown on the Tithe Map, with the group of fields.

Names such as 'Little Comfort' were probably given either to a particularly barren and unproductive piece of land, or possibly, in some cases, to a dilapidated or ruined dwelling.

Farm is now deserted, partly collapsed, roof fallen in. Simple rectangular plan, two storeys aligned roughly east/west, partly rendered, stone mostly rubble. Probably not long deserted. Adjacent to line of preferred route of North Devon Link Road 2.
