65 Wolborough Street. House. 17th century, with later alterations. Painted roughcast probably over cob, slate roof with a raking dormer and a tall large rendered stack to the rear. Double-depth plan with rear left wing. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 2-window range. To the first-floor right is a sash window with a thin forward frame and 4/8 panes, the window below has a similar frame and late 19th century two-pane sashes; a smaller casement window to the first-floor left has 3 lights, each with 4 panes; to the ground floor left is a set-back 6-panel door glazed to the top with beaded panels below, a 6/6-pane sash window to the centre. The building is stepped forward from No.67 to the right, the projecting corner has a small iron door to the front of the return, possibly an inspection panel to a former corner stack. INTERIOR: not inspected. Date listed: 6th June 1972.
