69 and 71 Wolborough Street. Pair of houses. Late 18th/early 19th century. Painted stucco, slate-hung right return and slate roof with central brick ridge stack. Double-depth plan. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys; symmetrical 2-window range to the pair. Modillion eaves cornice ; early 19th century forward frames to 8/8-pane sash windows, those to the second floor at eaves level; cornices on consoles over doors with 2-pane overlights to the outer ranges, that to No.69 to the left is 19th century with four-panels, and 20th century render; that to No.70 to the right is 20th century and has incised stucco to the lower courses. INTERIOR: not inspected. Date listed: 6th June 1972.
