Full description
Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.
'Bark Mill' shown 19th century map as a long rectangular building along the north side of the leat with a small square extension to the northwest.
Ordnance Survey, 1904 - 1906, Second Edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch Map (Cartographic). SDV325644.
The early 20th century map shows a large rectangular extension to the northwest side of 'Bark Mill'.

Shown as 'leathworks' on 20th century surveys. The external walls, openings and roof construction of original building remain. Building due for conversion to six cottages.
