Greek revival house replaced an earlier building. White in 1850 noted a mansion with 'woody grounds commanding delightful views'. The orangery, stable block, gates and red sandstone lodge are also listed (gray).

Clark, J. + Richardson, D., 2013, Trehill (Un-published). SDV358320.

Small country house, built in Greek Revival style in 1827 by C.R. Ayers for J.H. Ley and replaced an earlier building. The orangery was brought from Winslade Manor; it has five bays with a central pediment. White (1850) noted that it was a ’handsome mansion, with woody grounds, commanding delightful views’.
