Full description
Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, SX64SE 18, 18 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV177543.
A fine Coup-de-Poing handaxe seven inches long with denditic markings was found in 1921 at the foot of the downs in Outer Hope. Thrown up from an excavation for water pipes (citing Winder).
