Full description
Department of Environment, 1973, Ashburton, 37 (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV300597.
No 26, St Lawrence Lane. Early 19th century, three storey, rendered, lined as ashlar. Two sash windows with glazing bars at upper floors. Wood eaves band, slate roof 6-panel door with radial bar fanlight in recess with panelled reveals to wood case with reeded pilasters. Carriage entrance under, left.

ASHBURTON - ST LAWRENCE LANE (west side) No.26 - GV II
House. Early C19. Solid rendered front, lined to imitate masonry. Slated roof. Rendered chimney on each gable end. 3 storeys. 2 windows wide. Ground storey has centre doorway with reeded wood surround and cornice; 6-panelled door, the 2 bottom panels flush, matching reveals, fanlight with radial bars. To left, a pair of old plank doors to cart entrance (almost certainly a later insertion); strap-hinges, iron looped handle. Windows have 6-paned sashes in ground and second storeys; 3-paned ones in third storey. Eaves-cornice replaced by a plain board, but lowest part of original moulding remains.
Annotation by Historic Buildings Officer indicates this is now three flats.
