No 1, Union Terrace. (St Breock). Circa 1820, 2 storey, 3 windows, stucco front, detached house. French casements with glazing bars, bowed iron balconies to upper floor. Bracket cornice. Incised line ornament to pilasters of doorcase. Lozenged fanlight.

House. Circa 1820s. Stuccoed and blocked out, return walls roughcast; slate roof with deep eaves with moulded eaves brackets; stacks with brick shafts, left end stack projecting. Plan: L plan with rear left service wing. Exterior: 2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-bay front with steps up to a central 6-panel front door with an overlight with lozenge glazing bars. Doorcase with pilasters with includes fret decoration, panelled reveals. 2 ground floor and 3 first floor long casement windows with glazing bars and margin panes, some old glass. The 3 first floor windows have shallow bowed cast iron balconies of a lattice design with stars at the intersections. Interior: Not inspected but likely to be of interest. One of a row of good Georgian houses in Union Terrace.
