Full description
Department of Environment, 1972, Dartmouth, 39 (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV155627.
South Town Conduit in wall of No 6. Tablets dated 1511, 1722 and 1899, said to have been probably erected at the 2nd date.

Conduit in wall of 6 South Town in Dartmouth. Water conduit in round-headed alcove to ground-floor left with water pipe protruding from back. Projecting flat surround. Stone plaque in wall above has concave top corners, an incised reeded frame and is inscribed with the initials "FS" (presumably Feoffees of South Town) the dates 1511, p1792 (sic.) and, at the bottom in small numbers, 1899. The 2 later dates possibly relate to rebuilding phases of this house.
