Urgles, Goodameavy. A modern cross of rectangular section, erected on the site of an ancient socket-stone, by the roadside outside the moor gate, opposite Urgles Farm, half a mile east of Goodameavy Bridge. The ancient socket-stone, roughly circular in shape (Type A), now lies in the garden of Goodameavy House, near the bridge, where it forms the base of a memorial cross to the son of a former occupier.
