Full description
Department of Environment, 1972, Tiverton, 57 (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV52494.
Early to mid 19th century, semi-detached pair with plain slender cast-iron columns to verandah, two storey, stucco, three windows each, at first floor, with glazing bars. Attics with window in gable end. Sunk-panelled flank pilasters.

Pair of houses. Circa 1850. Mass wall construction, stuccoed; natural slate roof, gabled at ends; axial and right end stacks with brick shafts and crested pots.
Plan: pair of double-fronted houses with central entrances; two rooms wide and two rooms deep with addition at right end.
Exterior: two storeys. 3:3-bay front. Left, right and centre pilasters with round-headed sunk panels. Eaves band; platband; deep cornice on brackets extends round returns as pedimented gable. Central recessed front doors with panelled reveals. Ground-floor windows are high-transomed French windows with glazing bars; first floor outer windows are 16-pane sashes with a 12-pane sash in the centre. Verandah on cast-iron columns with a glazed roof. The left return of No.15 has a 20th century verandah, on timber posts with lapped glass fixed windows and a Gothick arched attic window in the gable. House on right, No.16, to right has a single-storey addition at the right end with a half-glazed door with margin panes.
Interior: not inspected but may retain features of interest.
