Vis=18/11/1975 (os) visual ground evidence of a park-pale was not located.

The manor of trill passed by sale circa 1540 to the drake family, who had a deer park here (lysons).


Exeter Archaeology, 2003-2004, East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Archaeological Survey, Site No. 1116 (Archive - Survey). SDV351568.

The manor of Trill included a deerpark. No evidence of park-pale located on the ground (SMR). On Tithe Map/Tithe Apportionment a field to east of the house is called Great Park at SY 2945 9580 (Tithe Apportionment No. 1689, arable, c. 15.25 acres). It is not known if this could be the former deer park.
