Larn refers to cargo looted from the wreck of john & Lilley being found in a vault beneath the pulpit of Appledore Baptist Church, 1843.
Thorne, R., 1975, The Last Bible Christians. Their Church in Devon in 1907, 66 (Article in Serial). SDV15286.
Ebenezer chapel, off Irsha Street, Appledore. Opened 1859. Purchased from Baptists, built 1840s. Closed 1907 due to failure of cause. Demolished.
