(09/11/2004) SX 52718464 to SX 52268453 and SX 52678457 to SX 52408452. The fragmentary remains of two former leat channels on the right bank of the River Lyd on the southern edge of High Down. Towards their sources where they are relatively well preserved the channels are around 0.7m wide and a maximum of 0.25m deep with substantial banks on their downslope margins. The upper channel rapidly shows damage by later activities and becomes little more than a crude linear hollow while the lower feature is latterly obscured by marsh in the valley bottom.
