Summary

Knowle, harcombe, 17th century but rehandled as country house circa 1840-50 with gothicised details. Two storeys stone rubble on plinth. E front with wider outer bays, all 3 gabled with saddlestones and finials. Five stone mullioned and transomed windows in splayed reveals, drip moulds and stone relieving arches above. Two storeyed porch, pointed arched doorway with drip mould. Steep pitch gable end slate roof. Stone chimneys with offsets (doe).
