Full description

BELSEY, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV282345.

'leat' shown on os 6" 1964 map. Vis=3/4/1983 (belsey). The well maintained leat is taken off the ruddycleave water in impenetrable woodland at sx72597329. At sx72557309, the leat passes under an arched stone field wall (see photo). The water then descends passed the former school into a stone trough, see sx77sw/350, before crossing under the road to serve southbrook farm (belsey).
