Shippon about 15 metres south-west of Bowden Farmhouse. Shippon with loft over. Probably C18 or early C19. Granite rubble. Roof part slated and part covered with corrugated asbestos sheets, hipped on north-west. 4 ventilation slits in side-wall facing house. Owl hole in downhill gable. Loft door in uphill gable. Roof-trusses with hung kingposts, scissor-braced.

The accounts of builder, Charles Stanbury, circa 1769 refer to 'new barns' which are presumed to be the detached shippon and threshing barn.
