Crackaway Barton, East and West, small barton, now two dwellings. It is 17th century with possibly earlier origins, extended in 18th century (datestone 1732) and main range heightened in 19th century. Colourwashed rendered morte slates with slate roof with gable ends. Stacks. Single room deep, possibly 2-cell plan extended to 3 cells in 18th century. Two outshuts. Casements. Windows are 17th and 19th century.

Grade II. Small barton now two dewellings; at least 17th century. It is surrounded by 20th century farm buildings. Believed to have been one of three independent manors held by three thanes before the Conquest, although the name is not recorded before 1241. Other details: Site 7.
