It is oval in shape, 16 metres long by 12 metres cross and 0.6 metres high and is constructed of stone and earth, now largely turf covered, with a hollow in the centre suggesting that it may have been disturbed in the past.

Three smaller hollows and stone heaps on west side suggest unrecorded excavation or stone extraction.
