Wilson, H. M., 2019, From 'Lady Woodcarvers' to Professionals: The Remarkable Pinwill Sisters (Article in Serial). SDV366284.

After producing modest plans for restoration, Dohn Dando Sedding handed over supervision to his nephew Edmund H. Sedding. When restoration began in 1885, Elizabeth Pinwill adked the head woodcarver to teach her daughters to carve. The synthesis of their ideas and practical application led to lasting collaboration. In 1889 the sisters produced an elaborate pulpit for the church. In 1910 Violet Pinwill carved a large reredos to the design by Edmund Sedding, completing it in 1911.
