Gill, H. S., 1878, On silver regal money coined in Devonshire mints, 590 (Article in Serial). SDV336871.

A list of extant coins minted there provided in Gill.

Worth, R. N., 1879, Lydford and its Castle, 296 (Article in Serial). SDV336870.

Coins are known to have been minted here from the reign of Ethelred 2nd (979-1016) to Edward the Confessor.

Lydford was the site of a mint in the pre-conquest period and coins dating from the reign of King Ethelred II (AD976-1016) are known to have been minted here.

The mint struck coinsalmost continuously from 975-1049 except for the first issue of Ethelred and the `trefoil quadrilateral' issue of 1046-7 (citing Hill, D., 1981, An Atlas of Anglo-Saxon England, pg 131).
