A track is marked on the First Edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch map.

Ordnance Survey, 1905, 12NE (Cartographic). SDV335644.

A track is marked, on a north-south alignment, along the eastern edge of Braunton Burrows.

A track is marked, on a north-south alignment on eastern edge of Braunton Burrows .

Visited 2009. NGR (centre) is probably to east of track. To north of the track from Sandy Lane car park to the dunes the line of the 'road' (better described as a track) follows current footpath. No historic metalling or boundary features visible and any fences are modern. South of the track the feature is not defined although could be represented by a grass track aligned north/south in the vicinity of J Lane (and marked on current mapping).
