Vis=1974 (ndas) landkey castle mill, landkey newland. The machinery and buildings are gone. In about 1915 a man named bill rew worked the mill. He apparently rented the mill from messrs berry & son, corn merchants of barnstaple (ndas).

'landkey mill' was mentioned in a lease of 1763 and had become 'castle corn mill' by late c19. In 1995 the two storey mill of random stone had an iron roof and was in poor condition. The overshot wheel was still present and the leat running (bodman).
