Hut circle '41' of 5.2 metres diameter with walls 1.1 metres wide by 1.2 metres high within Standon Down settlement. May have been rebuilt and used as animal enclosure. Boundary walls lead north-east and south-west from this hut. The 1901 excavation revealed no trace of human occupation.

One of a group of over 70 hut circles with enclosures. Hut 41; rebuilt circle, no finds.

(17/07/1992) Hut in Standon Down settlement. At SX 55068249. Terraced into hillside. Internal diameter measures 5.2m. Coursed wall 1.1m wide, 1.2m high. South-facing doorway defined by upright slabs. May have been rebuilt and used as animal enclosure. Boundary walls lead north-east and south-wesy from this hut. The 1901 excavation revealed no trace of human occupation.
