Cairn at north-east end of row.

Grinsell, L. V., 1978, Dartmoor Barrows, 172, No. 24 (Article in Serial). SDV273224.

(22/06/1973) SX 65715718. Cairn 7 metres in diameter by 0.1 metres high, with possible end slab of cist in centre hollow, giving orientation south south east/north north west.
A double stone row proceeds slightly downhill to the south-west.

Cairn at the north end of 'Cantrell stone row' at SX65705717 of 8.0 metres diameter with a single slab on the edge of the central hollow which may indicate one end of a cist.

The cairn at the north end of the row is 7.0 metres in diameter and 0.3 metres high, with a hollow in the centre suggesting that it has been robbed in the past.

Visited on 24th April 2021, surveyed and photographed. Cairn at north-east end of stone row south-east of Western Beacon: turf-covered mound, 9.6 metres north-west to south-east, 7.6 metres north-east to south-west, 0.6 metres high, upright stone and extraction pits on mound.
