Summary
A well preserved cist with two side stones and two end stones. Internally it measures 0.9 metres by 0.6 metres and a maximum 0.65 metres deep. It is oriented north-west/south-east and its top is 0.25 metres above ground level but there is no trace of a cover stone. A vague stoney spread around the structure, some 4.0 metres in diameter, may represent vestiges of a cairn.

(23/03/1979) A cist at SX 5923 6747, with two side stones and two end stones but no cover stone, measures 1.3m by 1.0m externally and 1.0m by 0.7m internally. It has a depth of 0.6m and is orientated north-west/south-east. Surveyed at 1:10 000 on PFD.

Drizzlecombe cist '21' at SX59226747 with a possible cairn. Four sides of a cist are all that remains, there being no trace of mound or cover slab. It was first reported in 1907 and excavated in 1914 when only a few fragments of charcoal remained.

(13/08/1999) A well preserved cist with two side stones and two end stones is located on a gentle west-facing moorland hillslope at SX 5922 5747. Internally it measures 0.9m by 0.6m and a maximum 0.65m deep. It is oriented north-west/south-east and its top is 0.25m above g.s.l.; there is no trace of a cover stone. A vague stoney spread around the structure, some 4.0m in diameter, may represent vestiges of a cairn.

This cairn with a cist lies on a south-west-facing slope north-east of Drizzlecombe and above the Sheepstor leat. The mound is 4 metres in diameter and remains to a height of 0.25 metres with part of a retaining kerb on the north-west side. The cist is orientated south-east/north-west and is 1.18 metres in length 0.9 metres in width and 0.6 metres in depth. It was excavated in 1914, when charcoal was found in it. It lies within a few hundred metres of the complex of stone alignments, cairns and enclosures in Drizzlecombe.
