Ackland's moor landing strip. An avenue of parallel rows of granite blocks has no ritual significance but marks the course of the landing strip. Some show traces of whitewash. It is on a ne-sw alignment. Laid out in 1934 when link from barnstaple established. Regular use ceased in 1955 when boat "lundy gannet" came into use. Still used occasionally (nt).
