Full description

Department of Environment, 1978, Totnes, 77 (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV342722.

Number 82 High Street (south side). Late 18th century refronting of an older building. 2 storeys. 2 windows. Welsh slate roof with brick stack. Plastered, timber-framed front with parapet. Architraved sash windows to first floor with glazing bars. Masonry party wall with moulded corbel at north end of former first floor jetty. Wooden doorcase with pilasters carrying entablature, panelled reveals, rectangular fanlight and 6 panel door. Modern recessed shopfront.
