Full description
Department of Environment, 1978, Totnes, 59 (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV342722.
Number 89 High Street (formerly listed as Numbers 89 and 91). Early 18th century, altered. 3 storeys. 2 windows. Hipped Welsh slate roof with rendered stack. Rendered, timber framed front. Masonry party walls. Second floor retains the original 3 light mullioned casements with ovolo mouldings and early 19th century glazing bars. Late 18th century first floor sash windows with architraves and glazing bars. Formerly two shopfronts with pilasters carrying entablature with projecting cornice. Altered shop windows and doorway; former panelled house door. Number 91 formed part of this building.
