Full description

Dated 16/03/1989. Number 20 High Street, (south side). Possibly 16th century, refronted late 19th century. 2 storeys. 2 paired windows to first floor. Welsh slate roof. Gabled front with carved bargeboards, finials and bracketed eaves pendants. Ornamental plasterwork in gable. First floor retains 16th century close-studded, exposed timber framing with bressumers and plaster panels. First floor with architraved sash windows. Early 19th century wooden shop front with pilasters carrying entablature. Modern shop windows and doorways.
