Summary
The tower is one of the few almost complete late norman towers in devon. Also of this period are three small round-headed and externally rebated windows, a pointed west doorway and a pointed east arch, all in the tower. Five timber-waggon roofs remain. A good series of carved bench ends of the early xvi century. Late xii century font carved with various devices on a round stem and four round shafts. Also a largely rebuilt rood screen of late xv century type.(copeland).
