Full description

Preston bridge cottage. Small cottage. Probably mid-late c19, extended late c19-early c20. Plastered cob on rubble footings; rubble and brick stacks topped with brick; thatched roof. Gable-ended 2-room cottage facing south-east with single storey extension to right (north-east). End stacks to main cottage and extension.2 storeys. Symmetrical 2-window front to cottage with c20 asbestos tile-roofed porch to central door. Late c19 casements, 3-lights to ground floor, 2 to first floor half dormers with thatched gables over. Single storey extension with thatched roof with hipped end (doe).
