Summary
18th century cider house. Cob and stone rubble; thatched roof, hipped at ends. Joins Woodlands farmhouse at right angles at the west end, forming part of a narrow farmyard. Built into the slope of the land with first floor access at the rear. Lofted cider house with a large doorway on the front, a 2-light window to the right, a loft window to the left and pigeon holes with flight ledges. Cider press no longer exists.

Full description

Cider house adjoining Woodlands at the west. Cider house. Probably 18th century. Cob and stone rubble; thatched roof, hipped at ends.
Plan: the cider house joins the farmhouse at right angles at the west end, forming part of a narrow farmyard in front of woodlands. The cider house is built into the slope of the land with first floor access at the rear.
Exterior: lofted cider house with a large doorway on the front, a 2-light window to the right, a loft window to the left and pigeon holes with flight ledges. Interior: collar rafter roof trusses. Cider press no longer exists.
Part of an outstanding group with the farmhouse and other farm buildings.
