Full description

'Woodland Farm Remains of a Manor House’ shown on 19th century map. This rectangular building with an extension on the western side is shown on the western side of the farmyard.

Barn about 25 metres south west of Woodland Manor house. Barn with cow house below. Circa 18th/19th century. Stone rubble with granite quoins. Slurried scantle slate half-hipped roof. Central external stone stairs to barn on first floor. Doors to cow house either side with granite lintels. Lean-to extension at north end with pigeon holes. Included for group value. Modern mapping shows that the buildings at Woodland Farm have been converted into separate dwellings at the centre of a housing development. The former barn is shown as numbers 6-8 Woodland Court.
