Interior: the older part is floored. The 4-bay ceiling is carried on crossbeams of large scantling and which are soffit-chamfered with step stops. All are supported each end on large oak posts most of which have jowled heads. In the roof one side-pegged jointed cruck survives. The rest of the roof comprises a collection of c18 and c19 a-frame trusses with pegged or nailed lap-jointed collars (doe).

SOUTH, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV65662.

Barn facing west with c19 extension on right (south) end under same roofline. Large c20 garage doors left of centre, the centre of the original part. To the left are 2 unglazed c17 oak windows, the first of 5 lights has only one surviving original chamfered mullion but the second of 4 lights is complete with its chamfered mullions. At first floor level are 2 loading hatches, one over the doors and another near the right end, and near the left end is an unglazed c19 casement with glazing bars. The roof is hipped each end. In the left (northern) end wall is a c17 oak doorframe with chamfered surround but the stops have worn away. Another original doorway in the rear wall is blocked but the lintel over is soffit-chamfered with scroll stops. The c19 section is open to the rear.
