Several shallow and irregular earthwork depressions are visible on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. One of the shallow depressions corresponds with an 'old marl pit' depicted on the First Edition OS map. The remaining earthworks do not correspond with any depicted features. They are interpreted as further marl pits of post-medieval to 19the century origin.
