Full description

Wills lists polygonal concrete pillbox facing west at SX677400.

Pillbox of local design, (square with corner 'cut' off) loopholes 5/1, 5/2 and 5/3; 5/4 and 5/5 in cliff face. Manned by Black Watch, reference, local history book 'A Present from Hope Cove'.

Site visited on 31st March 1996. Covers the length of Hope Cove (Sandy Beach) from its north side. Currently at the end of a garden above the beach-back retaining wall. Photographs and plan.
