Summary

Plymouth Brethren Chapel depicted on the late 19th century historic maps. Much smaller building(s) than exist today. This chapel may have been erected by the Surridge family who worked Bridford Mill from the mid-19th century until 1921 or later. The Surridges appear to have been ardent non-conformists and hosted preachers at the mill in 1891 and 1901 according to census records.
