South West Heritage Trust, 1838-1848, Digitised Tithe Maps and Transcribed Apportionments (Cartographic). SDV359954.

Appears to be shown on the Tithe Map, although is a little unclear and is just labelled 'y'.

No 9 Lime Street (West Side), Moretonhampstead.
House, at the end of a row. Probably late 18th century. Granite rubble ground storey, light scantling timber frame above all roughcast. Thatched roof, gabled at left end and half-hipped at right end. Slate leanto roofs at right-hand end and rear. Rendered chimneystacks, one at left gable end, the other at rear now within leanto outshut.
Two room plan with central entrance, each room with rear lateral fireplace and service rooms in two storey rear leanto outshut. Extended half a bay to right with leanto roof.
Two storeys and attic. Three window range. Circa late 18th or early 19th century 12-pane sashes in exposed cases. Only one central attic window with six panes, probably a fixed light window. Late-19th century flush panel and glazed door in plain opening near centre. The eaves at right-hand end one lower where there is a slate roof leanto.
Interior: two blocked fireplaces on rear walls of front rooms which is now one large room having had the partitions removed. Original roof trusses with collars halved and pegged to the face of the principals. The largely unaltered front with sash windows and thatched roof make this building an important element in the street.
