St. Wenn's Chapel may be on the site of an early Christian graveyard as it appears to have stood in a separate rounded enclosure. The chapel is associated with an early Christian saint and the 'stow' place name element may have links with the Welsh 'llan', an enlosed cemetery. Other details: Photocopy in parish file.
