The quarry is clearly depicted on the Ordnance Survey First Edition 25inch map and was not transcribed by the survey. The quarry corresponds with Plot 168 on the Tithe map for Chudleigh, listed as lime kiln and quarry. The quarry earthworks are obscured from view by dense tree cover on images derived from aerial photographs of 2016.
